Ep. 3 – Building Emotional Resiliency, Helping others find Joy and Hope with Micheal Sean Covey

In this episode, I sit down with Micheal Sean Covey, the founder and director of Bridle Up Hope, a non-profit from Alpine Utah, that helps young girls overcome emotional trauma as well as learn effective life habits.  In this episode we talk about learning how to build emotional resiliency in ourselves and helping others, especially young girls, prepare to face the emotional trials they will face. We talk about social media and its impact as well, we talk about how to carry your own weather. Here are the action items for this week’s podcast episode: 1. Lighten your demeanor. Whatever happens today, carry a happy and positive attitude and don’t let negativity cloud your interactions with others. 2. Get involved in the community. My favorite organization is O.U.R. You can become a volunteer there, or just volunteer wherever you are. Here’s a google search that can get you started. Just get involved. Take pictures of yourself doing these action items and post them on social media. Tag us @TheHardThingPodcast If you get the opportunity, go ahead and check out Bridle Up Hope. They have a barn in Alpine Utah, as well as one in the Carribean and in the Netherlands. If you can, sign up and become a monthly donor. I donate $5 a month to them to help girls become stronger individuals. Donate here.
